Radio Aporee
I've just discovered, via Framework Radio, the wonderful website Radio Aporee.
This is an interactive map with user-uploaded field recordings, based on location. Sometimes audio without video is more evocative than synced audio and video.
With Radio Aporee, you get a taste of real people and places on our planet. They also have a radio stream, which creates a mix of various field recordings, each location introduced by an automated computer voice. This works in-browser on a pc, but on a phone you may need to look them up in your radio player app.
It's easy to upload your own field recordings, as I have done here. They do ask that you upload good quality audio recordings. For the linked recording, I used a Sony PCM-D100, a great handheld recorder.
